The Power of the Presence of God

God’s presence in our lives is transformative and brings about spiritual changes and empowerment. When we encounter God’s presence, we can experience profound growth, guidance and comfort.

Jacob’s encounter with God was life-changing. As he wrestled with God, he received a new name Israel, symbolizing his newfound identity and relationship with God. Similarly, when Saul was anointed by God, the Spirit of God came upon him and he prophesied, marking the beginning of his journey as King of Israel. Mary’s experience with God’s presence was also remarkable, as the Holy Spirit’s power enabled her to conceive Jesus, bringing about a new life and a fresh chapter in human history.

God’s presence is often experienced in a quiet and spirit-filled atmosphere, where we can sense His peace and guidance. When God is present, new things happen – new beginnings emerge and transformations take place. God’s presence also empowers us for service and witness, giving us the courage and wisdom to share His love with others.

With prayer, seeking God’s presence can bring about positive change in our lives. By prioritizing God’s presence, we can experience His power and love, enabling us to overcome challenges and difficulties. Let’s prioritize seeking God’s presence, setting aside time to wait upon the Lord and experience His transformative power. May we passionately seek His presence and be enveloped by God’s glory, allowing His love and guidance to shape our lives, amen.
