Sacrifice and the Journey With Christ

Sacrifice and the Journey With Christ

Intimacy with Christ requires surrender and sacrifice. The farther we journey with Christ, the more refined our circle becomes. Like the concentric circles of a tree, each layer represents a deeper commitment.

The multitudes may marvel at His miracles, but only a few remain through the stormy nights. The twelve apostles walked alongside Him yet only three witnessed the Transfiguration’s glory.

Even among those closest, loyalty and devotion can falter. As we approach the cross, the crowd thins and the weight of sacrifice becomes clearer. Still, it’s in these moments of solitude and surrender that we discover the true depth of our faith and the transformative power of the cross.
